Bass Season 2014 Opener

Bass season 2014 is officially open!  This is possibly my favourite time of the year. No time to waste, there's fish to catch!  We went wading this week. The water is still very high compared to previous years. It must be due to the brutal winter we just had. It's also still very murky and dirty, making it hard for the fish to see the lure. We've been using brighter colours in the hope to standing out in the turbid water.  It's also still very cold. I'm guessing that by mid July the water will warmer, the silt will have settled to the bottom and the water level will have dropped to a more manageable depth for wading out to our good fishing spots.
